« on: October 08, 2012, 04:27:35 PM »
Oky so the P38 has not been started for 18 months and the battery was flat as a pancake. New battery and now refusese to start. Looks like the imobilzer is not letting the fuel pump go and no faults on the dianostics. Can you reset the system? anyone got a cloo? sparks okay thank you in advance

Hi it sounds like key is not being recognised,Use the key to open door while pushing the button on fob to  lock hold for 10 seconds, then lock door with key while pushing the open button again hold for 10 beconds. You should be able to get into vehicle with fob and it should start, you will have to reset windows otherwise you will get a bleeping noise every time you yurn on ignition, hope this solves your problem, cheers paddy.

Well all keys are registered only getting back to this as I have time again. Fuel rail has no pressure but lots of spark. Relays all seem to be clicking and don't look burned out???
