Hi folks I need some advice. I have an 8 year old caravan which I have had since new. Problem is the front panel which is fiberglass has become mat finished. I polish it with Auto Glym which is firs class for the rest of the van but not very good for the front panel. Has anyone got any sugestions for a good cleaner/polish?.

I have a polish that's a two pack ceramic. Diamond bright? Welcome to try that to see of
it's any better. I'm in broughty ferry.

i use silky aout 5 pound a tub and realy good from most caravan places

I USE FARECKLA,TRIED THE REST AND THIS IS THE BEST,I USE IT ON FIBREGLASS BOATS AND IT ALWAYS GIVES THE BEST RESULTS,DIFFERENT GRADES FOR DIFFERENT TASKS.NOT CHEAP THOUGH

use ONLY caravan polish these fronts are a kind of plastic not fibreglass you can badly damaged the finish otherwise.
if it already has been rubbed with an abrasive you can get a special polish to repair it , last time i did one i got it from screwfix , its called polycarbinate polish or similar, design for fixing scratched baths etc

I have always used 'Silky Cream Cleaner' for 'boats & caravans'.
That 40 years worth of doing my dads vans for pocket money
& for gain & reward,
never found anything easier or better for the money.
I then protect with MER, not very proffesional but it works.

PS, i have used Farecla as a cutting compound & with polishers, but these
have always been their abrasive products.(dont know if they do non abrasive now)
Not really advisable on aluminium or anodised coated surfaces.
& never on plastic windows
