Hi Folks

Hi Folks

Been meaning to join SLROC for some time now and finally got around to it this evening.  I have a 300 Tdi 90  and really hoping to make it along to the May green road run in Callander if thats in order with you guys.

Is this an all day outing, anything I should bring etc. Will bring cake.

Bring the motor, a bag-lunch, the camera and a few bob to spend in the farm shop ! GPS and an OS map ? CB ?  

Nearest fuel is Dreadnaught Garage as you enter Callander from the south or Lix Toll coming from the north, neither cheap. Note for those coming up from Glasgow that the filling stations at Ballat Crossroads and Aberfoyle are both shut, so theres no fuel now between Bearsden/Milngavie area and Callander. If coming up from that way I'd suggest coming over the Dukes Pass from Aberfoyle to add a bit more scenic drive into the day out - Its got to be better than flogging up through the 14 miles of roadworks past Cumbernauld !

Good question, how do you know that?! ;D Surely the V8 roar doesn't get over the hills that easily? 8)

Not this one mate. I sold my v8 and I'm currently restoring a series 3 ex mil. Maybe the next one mate.
