Thanks Tim, we are all fine but its certainly a bit damp around here. Centre of Aberfoyle is still shut, folk camping in the village hall.
If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....

I saw the flooding on the news with the Wool Mill in the report. Couldn't believe I was just there yesterday.

oh the unfairness of it all..the one I couldn't make because of sweary word work and there's a great big puddle I could've played in...I was very tempted to drive round some "road closed" signs on way home today as compensation  ;D

Looks like everyone had a great time..hope you all dry out in Aberfoyle soon!  :-\

Big thanks to Gene who did all the legwork to get this one organised. Another great run with an extra attraction that provided good entertainment. And thanks to Tim I've still got dry carpets as he let me take his defender through the "puddle" - cheers. Some excellent photos folks - Paul MacGregor is still looking for contributions for next year's calendar so why not email him your best ones...or any others that you have from other events. Last GRR for this year is on 9th Dec - full details will be posted soon, Alan

Well after us emptying most of the water out of the "puddle" I bet it has refilled today, ready for the next run!  At 11am on Sunday when I arrived at the puddle we were the first people there and I had water up to intake depth (I have a proper Safari snorkel on my 90 as well as axle breathers and gearbox/ bell housing precautions) by 2pm the depth was only just up to the bottom of the rock sliders so you did a pretty good job of emptying water out of the puddle in 3 hours!
On my drive now - Zanzibar Bronze Evoque 5 door Dynamic Lux Plus with Intelligence & Black Packs with Tan interior
Gone - Fuji White RR Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux Plus
Staying - 1996 Epsom Green TDi 300 CHT that is now a CSW
