RRC, missing something?

RRC, missing something?

Hi folks,

Only just noticed that there's a small red plug in my engine bay not connected to anything, and a gap where there may have been something. I've tried to find an complete engine bay diagram to see what should be there but can't find one. The photo shows the bay right hand side, with header tank and brake compressor in situ.

4.2 V8 Classic LSE:


Whatever's not plugged in didn't stop it running correctly.

The horn for the factory alarm was normally fitted on the inner wing there, could be the plug for that.

Hi Stevie,

My alarm horn's well hidden behind the decker panel beneath the widscreen so you can't tamper with it, but maybe it's for a secondary alarm horn?
