Title: Soft top to Hard top on S111

Series 3 88 ex MOD soft top but ideally want to put a roof / side panels on it , are they standard fit and how much hassle involved ?

You will need to remove the hood and the sticks and possibly the "sharks tooth" rail at the top of the windscreen (not all MOD had the separate rail).
Sides and Roof can then be fitted in the normal Series Land Rover way.

At the rear you will either need to find a "cat flap" top (getting expensive!) or remove the tailgate and fit the Station Wagon type rear door.

Worth fitting new rubber seals as you put it together.

Do you mean a seal from side panels to roof ?

Sorry. 110 sides from a 5 door fit, they are on my 88.

Seal between the roof and the side panel and the seal between the side panel and the tub.
Also remember seal from roof to windscreen is a good one to stop water from rain coming in, also fit some sort of roof liner or deafening above front seats as prong to condensation and will drip on you also there is fittings from tub to sides if you don't have these long nut and bolts with big washers do the Job just as well.
