rear transfer box seal
« on: November 26, 2013, 10:21:55 PM »
hi guys does anyone have a diagram of how the rear oil seal , metal dust shield and drive flange should be in the back of a transfer box please.
mine has been butchered in the past and is leaking quite badly into the handbrake.
any tips on sealing it up would be handy too.
breathers are clear

thanks

all sorted now , found a previous owner of the transfer box had put the metal dust shield behind the seal against the bearing.
oh and it was only short of a litre :o
