« on: June 14, 2010, 10:28:52 PM »
I've bought a 109 ex military hard top and will be breaking it.  Mostly complete   Diesel Engine US and I will be keeping the gearbox.  Wheels are going back to the current owner everything else is up for grabs

John

I'm moving it tomorrow night so will have a look and see what it's like.  From the quick look I had, I think it has twin tanks with the screw off filler neck under the seat cushion

Duncan, what are the front seats like in your motor? My drivers seat has had it so looking for a reasonable one?
Also is the starter motor still on it? And if so available?

Where abouts are you?
Cheers. Mel.

John, if your 109 is petrol-Im sure you know the fuel tank is different to that of a diesel cos of the return pipes etc?. Ive just had to buy a new one for the Goddess..petrol ones are cheaper... :(

Mel
I'm sure the drivers seat was ok - can't remember what the other one was like will have a look tomorrow

I'm in Larbert

John
I forgot to have a look at the tanks when I moved it tonight.  But it was a petrol at one time converted to diesel, so the tank might suit if you don't need the filler on the outside  Fropm recollection the petrol didn't have a return to the tank, and if it is a diesel one, youi can alway's blank off the return
