Hi , just wondering weres the best place to buy a new springer aerial and connections for this ?

Depends where you live, Jamie. However, you'll get whatever you need at a good price on ebay.
There used to be a CB shop in the Barras, but I don't know if it's still there. Just down from Bill's Tool Store.

Yeah geoff barras is handy enough , what kind of spec am a looking for aerial wise? A type of cable should I use ?

I use a short Springer aerial and 6mm coax. Just ordered a new mount as we snapped it putting a ladder on the roof rack.
Thunderpole sell all you may need for CB radio and are cheap enough. They do starter kits with everything included.

You can get a springer in Maplins, either on Gt Western road or at St Enoch square but they are a bit dearer than fleabay. Remeber you will need a suitable mount for the antenna. If you are not in a hurry try 4x4CB they offer a discount for National response, PM me if you want details

jaycee electronics in glenrothes are mainly a ham radio shop but keep a full range of cb kit will post out same day as well

Hi all ,

          Thanks for all advice , only needed an adaptor from old fitting to change to a springer aerial , had cb and stuf already got it from maplins just back , only had to do this due to my other customization am in the middle of lol , thanks again
