I was heading to a site in Cumnock

Hi Radarears - Where is the site in Cumnock and was it any good for playing?

Past a nice 110 looked ex-mod and got a wave i was in the green truckcab 90 sitting at the lights.
Just as i was about to pass the baricks the army boys pulled out in a lovely ambulance 110.
Then near the viaduct at newtongrange saw one of the Hire 4x4 110 broken down at the side of the road.
Also saw a red 90 vanside passing between the lanes in my street seen this befor im sure the boy lives locally.
Good to see so many fenders kicking about.

I was off to a farm to survey the site for a wind turbine which I hope to sell.

However last week was up near Methlick in Aberdeenshire and was given a drive around a disused off road course. And was that spectacular especially coming down a gorse filled hill side to suddenly land in a bomb hole filled with water and slime etc. Pity that it is now disused it would have been a great course/ play area in years gone past, the farmer and his wife were past instructors when it was open.

This week I was in Aberdeenshire, again , and when surveying a farm was out in one of those trooper jeeps which got stuck due to the wrong tyres so had to get the Disco out to save the day        

cycling home in daylight for the first time since discovering land rovers

spotted - a house with 7 x series landys(that i could see) in varying ages/marques and states of repair and disrepair. 

you have quite the job on your hands there fella - unless they were your personal stash of bits for the series 3(iirc) that looks to be a runner when the world turns to mad max !

Big wave from a 2/2a with a Sankey this afternoon on the Biggar road at 9 mile burn

Spotted a well kitted out black 90 today on blinkbonny road behind currie. Thing looked a beast with its big wheels and full roll cage. I was in the big hoose might have seen my green 110 parked in the drive with a trailer beside it.

In Perthshire Caravans this afternoon a stunning white Overfinch Range Rover, not to much bling just nice blits and pieces like the side steps that retracted once the engine started 

...What looked like the Subaru owners Club getting a mass bollocking from Plod.

6 Subarus parked up outside Lochearnhead while Babylon waved a collective finger.

..... Exactly the same spot I got my 3 points last year :-(

Off to work in Thurso tomorrow till thursday and near Lybster there is a collection of Land Rovers inc Series 1 and others.

 There are lots of Disco 1's at the back of sheds that have been eaten by the dreaded tin worm underneath I suppose.

On Sunday I  saw a very smart black 110 at the Fascally Caravan Park. Light pod, winch, larger tyres,lift kit, roof tent and lots more. The owner was up visiting the owners of a caravan being towed by a silver P38 HSE         

Spotted a wee 90 belonging to a turfing company. was toeing a trailer. What i liked most was his mod. Wrapped peices of turf around his sidesteps. Liked that bit of a laugh  .

....also has artificial turf on wingtops and front bumper, with personal plate related to the business - saw him in Penicuik this evening. Also has a Disco with a similar plate...but I'm not aware of any grass on the Disco!!!

Has anybody that pases newtongrange seen the nice collection of working landys that are parked daily beside the carwash place over the road from sommerfeild?. Sure there is a few well kitted out 110 and a 130. They never wave though the sods lol  .
