Northbound on the A9 about Gleneagles today, a fine looking Camel 110, fully laden and towing a very purposeful expedition trailer.

Wonderful vehicle sir !

Probably Sankey based but a sign-written exped trailer rather than a cooks trailer.... "Conquerer" I think ?

there was an event at strathpeffer that weekend , a mountain bike event - strathpuffer

sounds like the same guy i met at the event

camel trophy 110 with the sankey was a propper tricked out race pit the guy drove up from yorkshire ! - had a full on cooking and eating set up on one side under an awning and beds on the other by the looks of it

got to use his kit though , towing hymer campervans out of a ditch TWICE - different campers same ditch !

got proper landrover envy of that set up - not sure i could stomach the fuel bill of driving it up from yorkshire though !
`87 ninety - full rebuild with 11l 200tdi conversion ,2 inch lift and 13 inch shocks and relevent protection/sliders./ dislocation cones

Goes like a stabbed rat.

Between Huntly and Aberdeen on the left hand side of the road a lwb complete with breakdown winch on the back in white. But what was more interesting is that it is a 6 wheeler looked very smart indeed as I passed unfortunately could not turn back to look get a better look. However back up in early March so will stop then to hope fully see it better.
Had a great day with some good off road driving up step inclines  :D :D :D :D :D

When i took the Labs home that i had staying, i spotted on the M74-a blingy purple private plated Overfinch Range Rover which probably cost more than my house is costing to build!!...spotted is being generous-it overtook my old blue oval in a blur!! :D

On same trip which is more up my street-a lorry load of Army 90's and 110's... :)

This may well have been us going to Muddy Porcupines funeral
would have been my 110 green and sand colour, Tio's 90 Burgundy, Scotty's 90 Green and Grahams 110 white crewcab with Iffor Williams back
I wish I knew more,
But then, don't we all.
