what would you do ?

hi guys i've stripped out my bulkhead to repair the corners and am pleased to find very little rot ! i have the new corners and am a fair welder some would say lol but the question is do i cut the old one out or cover it with the yrm pannel thought please thanks in advance

Cut it out and do it properly then loads of cavity wax in behind other wise you are wasting your time, especially if you have the bulkhead stripped.
