The switch that selects low ratio doesn't do anything, and I suspect it's the ECU under the passenger seat, as I've changed the Ratio Change Motor and it works fine off a battery. I've had the car for about 3 years and have never needed low box.
It's fitted with 255/65R16 Michelin Synchrones and there's a spare set of 18"alloys/tyres with spigot rings, wheel nuts and locking wheel nuts.
This motor wiil cruise along all day at 70+ and would make an ideal holiday tourer for someone.
