Anyone have a recommendation for a good reasonably priced immobilizer for a 300TDi?

Cheers

A selection of electrical components from Britpart ?  That'll keep you guessing too !

Seriously, after your recent experience I can see why you are keen to improve security.

Simple stuff like a battery isolation switch, hidden away out of sight ? The old favourite of a blinking red light ?

Leave the transfer box in neutral.

Bolt-on stuff like a clamp plate over the pedals ? Saw one in the mags that folds flat on the floor when not in use.

If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....

another small thing you can do is to re-route the feed to the fuel cut out valve on the pump via and to a hidden switch. means engine will not start..
This plus the obvious steering wheel security locks is usually a good deterrent.

Fitted a cat 1 immobiliser to mine and would have to be a landy enthusiast to be able to unwire, kills all the ignition.

Something else you can do is to fit a bonnet lock so it cant be opened without key,  if someone gets inside the landy they still cant get near engine bay ect..
