I have an R380 manual box with bellhousing and transfer box that came off a P reg 3.9 V8 if thats any use to you  ???

Bear in mind the crank in an auto engine has different thrust bearings compared to a manual engine.

Ignore what I said above, it only applies if going manual to auto  :P

R380's and LT77's have different bellhousings as do LT85s (applicable if buying parts individually.

i have used the rangerover boxes before
only changing belhousins????

You must fit a spiggot bush when converting from auto manual otherwise you run the risk of the gearbox inputshaft friction welding itself to the crankshaft....... NOT GOOD!

yep bob
i know as i said used to convert petrols to deisels
believe it or not the first 1 i done from auto petrol to manaul deisel
spigot bush from appleyards at hte time
cost me 40 quid
cause i never new what it was at the time
then after that it was brass bush turned down to suit
cost zero
leson learned
