sagging headlining fix?
« on: March 20, 2016, 10:06:16 PM »
hi,
got a Disco 1 with headlining beginning to droop in places - its not the hard cardboard that's sagging, just the thin material that should be attached to it.
was thinking of cutting a few small holes in it and injecting quick drying glue, but anyone got any better ideas?
thanks, Alan

Better to take the headlining out, pull the thin fabric off completely and re-glue it, or replace the fabric with new.
Saves doing the same job again next year in a different bit!

As been suggested, take the headlining down, take the lining off, scrape away the glue and then spray it with black spray paint.  Comes up nice.  Even heard of masonry paint being used giving a stippling effect.
