V8 Dizzy cap
« on: December 21, 2010, 03:08:32 PM »
Does anyone know a supplier of original equipment lucas spares in the Edinburgh area.

My 3.9EFI does not want to start and am pretty sure it's weak spark, am after dizzy cap and rotor arm, do not want pattern parts as have had problems with non-lucas in the past.

Any help welcome, am new to the area and am still navigating by A-Z.

many thanks,

Nick Cooper

It's in a rangie, spark there but weak, have just had the gas system checked over and they guy said it was ok but a bit poor and it may be worth replaceing the cap and arm, been on quite a few years.

South Edinburgh go to Rupert Leng Walkerburn 01896870519 We used to have 2 Lucas depots in Edin., alas no more. Lothian Brakeways are OK but another make, got my V8 going though.
