Title: can anyone help 300 tdi auto disco abs

hi guys i have a 1997 disco county 300 tdi auto the abs light was taken its time going out last night it stayed on an not sure what can cause a delay in the light going out then not going out at all any ideas on what i can do to check or fix thisthanks barry
