Title: Fitting an Oil Pressure Sender

I'm looking to fit an oil pressure gauge to my 3.5 V8. Do I have to put in a T-piece to use the port the pressure switch is in at the moment or can I use one of the other ports on the filter housing?
There isn't much clearance between the filter housing and the steering box, so I'm hoping one of the other ports also tap into the outlet side from the filter. Here is a piccie:

Is the port nearest the flange of the housing (the one that comes out at an angle) a tap into the outlet from the filter?

Can I fit the oil pressure gauge to this port?

Yeh its on a 3.5 v8 but thanks anyway guys. Anyone fitted an oil gauge to a v8?
