hi

I thought i would check the chassis on the disco 2 i'm selling. (was selling)
There was a slight bubbling in the waxoyl. I thought it needed a prod with a screw driver.
5 mins later



This is below the drivers seat. The rest of the chassis is solid.
Its a 2001 car.
I normally do my own welding but this needs to be put on a ramp and done properly.
Can you suggest a good welder.

Sadly this is typical of the biscuit tin chassis for the disco 2, god knows what mine's like, at least you can see that corrosion the disco 2 is really bad for rotting from the inside unseen. shame really,,,,

Out of interest, where did you get a replacement chassis from? And if it's not too cheeky, how much? (feel free to not answer that second bit!)

I know build quality isn't what it used to be but that's taking the biscuit! There are 50 years old series' in better nick than that!
