Ok a few of the guys thought this was a good idea and I seem to be nominated to put it on the forum. Meeting at the site around 10 the cost is £25 for the day let me now if you would like to come along so I can let Fiona at drumclog have an idea of numbers.
Looking forward to this as I haven't had the 90 to one of these things ever.
Thanks Bill

I'll tow you out any time Bill ;D ;D

Roll Up Roll Up. Come practice your recovery techniques with our two resident getting stuck experts ;D
Thanks for organising but at the moment I'll have to pass.
-
I'll be there! ;D

Thats three out of the four getting stuck experts then! :-[

Stuck in a rut!
Can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon! ;D
-
I'll be there too.
Does that make it all four stuck experts being there then :o
-
Don't worry there's about 10 going so far so being stuck shouldn't be an issue.
Cheers Bill

Then we need to call on you ;)

I'd better not be one of the 10 then!

New prop shafts arrived today. So i'll be there.
Packing a land anchor, at least one of us should get out ;D

I have my new winch rope that needs testing as well, I expect maximum effort from everyone ;D :o

Looks like its gonna be a busy day ;D

A belated Happy New Year to everyone,
Well done Bill for giving us something to look forward to.
Dave - I thought you had got the 'crossing the troughs at the bottom of the hill' out of your system, but i have a feeling it will be a good test for the new rope, just remember to put the waders on before disappearing into the marsh.
Lucy, one of Clare's dogs, met a little boy in Livingston and stayed the night; looks as if Jiminey Cricket won't be on Jule's shoulder for the next few months, god help him.
I have some bits to do on the Orange, but will be there in one vehicle or another.

no no no no non no no...I'm working..this is so unfair >:(

Ok Guys
spoke to Fiona this morning, Although their is no set speed limit for the site, we will not be the only vehicles, the comps have spacific areas where no other vehicles go. So common sense applies. Dont know if ive worded this correctly and i dont want to offend. lets just have a fun safe day.
for entering the site i will park at the cross road at roughly 10oclock and take site fee que up at entry gate and i will go get the key, looking to enter site at 10.30.
looking forward to a fun day
Many thanks Bill

The owners themselves don't, however you need to consider a number of factors before charging off: there is livestock on the hill; where's everyone else when you crest a hill; where's everyone else if you fall over... and the big one for me: how much are you going to rip up the site for others (both other users, and the farmer needing grass for his livestock)?
(I have a real bee in my bonnet about the camping/trailer area: its already a soggy muddy sh*t-hole... and as people do more donuts, burnouts, and rubbish-dumps on the site - it becomes less appealing to everyone else)
-
I will just stay at home then! lol, its all common sense stuff really, I was born and brought up on a farm, work in the farming industry, shouldnt have asked the question if was going cause so much hassle
-
Dave plz don't take offence everyone has your best interests at heart and are not judging you personally. We have all witnessed that guy that makes everyone feel uncomfortable. And everyone goes on the defensive when certain questions are asked. You are more than welcome to come and I look forward to seeing you there.
Kind regards Bill
-
Dave - go play... have fun... just don't break anything.....
-

See you all there Bill
