    On Friday 28/02 around 17:20 at Cleghorn traffic lights I was sitting behind a "J" plate 90 with black soft top and bed cover , in helicopter
       yellow with RAF Decals and range rover classic 3 spokes .  I was well impressed and envious as I was stuck in my tin transit , I just
       wondered if it belonged to someone on here ..

Dont know whom owns it but I passed it at Cumbernauld this morning and it did look very smart.

    Me too , I spotted it again today on the road  between Strathaven and Boghead in Lesmahagow around about 15:15 , whoever it is they
       are covering a fair bit of mileage in it ... lucky or what ??

Saw a Discovery 2 light blue in colour on the back of a breakdown truck yesterday on the M8 Eastbound, just a quick glimpse as I was going the other way. Looked to have had a heavy impact on the passenger side roof/front windscreen, hopefully nobody from here.

Interesting to see this morning on the M80 two transporters carrying amongst other things, 5 brand new defender 90s.  Gerry mcGovern take note, there must be some people out there who still like them.

A friend of mine owns it, he has had it from 2001 when it was cast by the RAF. Still on its 2.5 NA engine.
I even helped paint it that golden yellow in the late 1990's.

Yeah that was me, thought it was yourself but only realised once I was past you. Brilliant stretch of road. 

Anybody saw the redbull land rover doing the rounds spotted it yesterday at glasgow airport its defender underneath with an old style car body on it almost hackney cab shape.

Yeah , I saw that crazy Irn Bru car a couple of weeks ago - didn't realise it was Land Rover based though.

Kev, I was the same, didn't realise it was you till we had passed - I'm not sure what the club wave/salute should look like for future recognition .

I had just picked my Disco 2 up after getting new rear shocks fitted, watts linkage re-bushed and a new track rod / drag bar fitted.   So hopefully as I go along there in the future I will no longer get bounced off the road and will be able to travel along it in a straight line
