Title: Superwinch Fairlead
Post by: mudTerrain on April 19, 2018, 08:39:49 PM
Hello,

I'm pretty certain I had an H14 Superwinch hanging off the front of my Defender before I took it (and everything else) off.

I haven't put it back on yet, but I had to cut the fairlead rollers apart to get it off - does anybody know where I can buy either new rollers or a complete new fairlead?  I can't find one anywhere near the same size on eBay - the standard one is about 425mm long by 100mm tall...

Many thanks for the application of your collective knowledge :)

I would presume that the rollers coud be replaced with some stock steel tube (if you can find a supplier) or splash out on a shiny, new set.....

Hi Sandy,

I can't find a new set that would fit - most of the autow ones are much shorter than the fairlead I've got.

I suppose I could just order a length of steel tube, like you say, and cut new rollers...maybe that's what I'll do.

Thanks :)
