I'm really happy to say that the MOD have again given us permission to use the specialist Driver Training Area at Cambusbarron on Sunday 12th Juy.  Come and play all day for £20. Gates will be open at 10.00 am, finishing at 4pm.

Put it in the Diary now and I'll post more info later, directions etc !

Is there a basic style area? I've a few first timers coming along and keen to get them hooked.

Is this a pay and play event or a punch hunt / trial, wouldn't mind a day in the mud but Treasure hunts and driving round wee flags isn't really my bag

No courses or trials, so yes, just pay your £20 quid and you can play all day (10am - 4pm).

Would we be ok with standard defender and all terrain tyres.

Absolutely fine.   Any Land Rover product on standard tyres would manage around the site - then it is just up to you if you try trickier sections.

There is always someone to ask or follow if you are not sure.
