Folks, another one for the diary - I've got the paperwork in and running for a visit to the Bosnian Road, Garelochhead on Sun 8th Dec. This is the MOD Driver Training Area above the Faslane Submarine base. Trying to negotiate access to some extra bits we've not used before....

MOD have confirmed acceptance of our Bid, so we're on. Negotiating some extra bits with the Range staff....

A week to go. Start point is as per the map below, 10 am on Sunday 8th Dec. Entry is £10 to cover Liability Insurance and the MOD license. You'll need food and fuel for the day. One person in the vehicle needs to be an SLROC member ( or at least in an ARC affiliated club like S2C), your membership card and maybe a tow-rope!

hmmmm kinda wishing I'd managed to fix the front shocks before this now.... :o not to worry do have tow rope...and have the new front shocks in the back of Landy ::) bring it on this was a good one last time ;D

Looks like a great run but :( me and the landy not up for it yet so hopefully next year when all fixed , please post pics vids as would love to see what and how you all get on
I'm in at hospital for first op on the 26th dec so I will soon be fit fingers crossed to be active next year.

Our power at home has been out since yesterday and as I'm about to leave work I may not get access to the T'internet for a while - SSE are saying some outlying areas may not get power till Tuesday !
...so I may not see any questions or queries posted.

:) Hi , after 2 hours I have found an approximate Postcode of G84 8YT which takes you close to Haul Road if it's of any use for like minded people who need a satnav to go anywhere ... hope it helps .. and I'm planning to be there hopefully for 10 o'clock

:) Hi just found out I have to take my daughter to work , by the time I've dropped her off the earliest I think I can get there would be half past 10 , would this be too late to get there ??? Duncan
