1992 landrover defender rear axel conversion

Can anyone tell me if a discovery 200tdi/300tdi rear axel will fit my 1992 defender 90? And if a few mods need to be maid what are they! Any help will be greatfull.. ;D Thanks Russell

Straight on,if the diff has a rubber doughnut replace it with the normal flange.

just beware in the future if you order bushes that the axle ones ie radius arm are different from a 90  so order 90 stuff for the chassis end and disco stuff for the axle end , found that one out after buying a polybush kit :o
easy swap that gives disc brakes and allows alloy wheels if you had drums

Hi i fitted a 300 disco rear axle to  my 1987 defender the only thing was as mentioned, about changing
the drive flange,  disco three bolt defender four that the number of splines on disco is 24 but the number on my defender
was 4,problem solved by taking drive flange of front disco axle.
