Rubber wear
« on: April 20, 2015, 08:43:02 AM »
Rubber or foam rubber strips.

Am making a waterproof seal between the lid on my roof and the roof rack itself.

Have a mating flange about an inch wide to fix something to make the seal, anyone done something similar or know of a product?

There are some fairly flat rivet heads on one piece so would need to have a bit of 'give' in it to allow for this, maybe quarter of an inch thick or there a bouts?

Any idea?

Many thanks,

I would say self adesive neoprene strip, cheap on ebay. I've used it for various things.
