Radiator wanted
« on: September 01, 2020, 01:05:30 PM »
I'm after largish radiator to keep a V8 cool but it has to fit behind a Series front panel and grill. Wondered if anyone had anything suitable gathering unused and gathering dust?

I've got a few v8 rads but not for series.
Most of us use 200/300 alloy rads with 30% more depth easily sourced on eBay but you will need a good quality fan like spal.
Forklift rads are good too with 2-3mm fins and 3" /4" widths.
There is a rad company in Whitburn will custom make them for you around £300

Think the rad in it is from a forklift but it might be past it's best, will try flushing it through. Split the top of the header tank yesterday and did an impression of a kettle, drove home ok and no damage done but obviously now radiator needs some attention. Was curious to know what other folk used.
