Sorry to hear about your Landy.

Would you mind letting us know what security you had fitted?

Hi had no security devices fitted as it was an old landy(24 yrs) and had survived up to now, wasnt a showroom model and was well used with tatty seats.
but in hindsite should have fitted pedal lock box etc. know what to do for next one when i can afford one that is.you never think it will happen to you espesually when you live in a quite area,o did i pay the price for that thought.

i lost more than a landie never seen again insured yes but that is not the point      in daylight side of the road and nobody seen anything at blackridge          to much work for the police to bother with it is only when they get a vehicle with a tracker that they find other interesting objects

Graeme the Police do not have a crystal ball, nor are they miracle workers for every time something gets nicked and sadly are not on dedicated patrol duties for you either. It pays to be a little bit savvy and protect your items from prying eyes and no the Police arnt going to find every stolen vehicle . Getting back to the original pm , Mel I'm sorry to hear about your landy.

Graeme, tis the season of goodwill, perhaps you might think about that before posting some very ill considered comments to a fellow enthusiast who, sadly, has just been deprived of being able to be call himself a landrover owner. Ba humbug to you! Ho, Ho Ho! and merry christmas to everyone else!
