I wonder if this will mean the Aussies will now have to pay the extra ?12 million to host the opening GP.
It seems the Egyptians really started something this time!!

Practice 2  Fri 05:30
Practice 3   Sat 03:00

Wonder if the FIA will allocate track time for the teams for testing due to the loss of Bahrain GP.

Do love my motorsport.
Could be an intereting year with these new tyres some of the shots of huge chunks falling of them is tad worrying. Well done to the scots lad for managing 14th a very goiod first attempt.

I like my motorsport as well....used to compete with a Triumph Herald....not quite F1 or WRC but fun all the same... ;D

Some of the trials i did with my Herald were muddier than what some of the tyro's are...!!!!

Was talking to a chap today who was very keen on his Triumph motors..... i do like classic cars like landys they have a keen spirit keeping you on your toes.
Cant really risk doing anyform of offroading in my landys as their work vehicles but maybe oneday...actually prefer just heading off in them on long camping wkends down the borders. And rebuilding them slowly very very slowly  ;D.

The race was not bad today but their new movable rear wing seems to be very hit and miss. Button done a fair bit of aggressive driving was fun to see not his usuall style. And well done to Paul Di Resta what a great result for his first drive. My driver of the race was Petrov was a storming drive to nail 3rd ahead of Alonso good on him. Just hoping now that mclaren get right up to speed and stop vettel becoming a new shumacher by winning evrything in sight.

Cracking qualifying session common Hamilton knock that german Vettel of his high horse we all know he only is as good as his car otherwise he is nothing special. At the back of my mind i see them taking each other out allowing webber, button and alonso to go for the win. Yes its 4am i cant sleep and the pre race show starts at 8am so i see it this way get maybe few hoors sleep get up at 6am take dogs oot for long walk and get home make breakie rolls and nice mug of coffeee and sit doon watch the race. Then i gota go to halfords buy oil for my 300tdi im gona try bring her to life tomorow  ;D

What a fantastic race this wkend and great drive by hamilton for the win. Unlucky his teammate button could not keep the pace after a storming start.
Webber drove for his life for a fantastic podium after starting 17th the guys an animal in a F1 car very exciting to watch.
