with standard tyre a 3.9 manual would get 22 mpg just driving normal    a 3.9 auto would get 21 mpg driving consistantly at 55mph just in direct drive   with oversized tyres it will not get these figures   a 4.0 litre disco also on standard tyres will get 19 mpg    they all have to be tuned spot on  with the correct exhaust      the rrc 3.9 manual with a sports exhaust could only get 19 mpg after being changed but the smile was worth it     the auto when changed made no difference   but it was not as camy at 2000rpm

Yes this was at 70-80mph with the cruise on in an auto lol Wide road tyres on too

Hi Guys,

I was just looking through my old posts and realised I never updated this topic, very much as everyone has reported, after filling up the RRC I found that it returned 19 MPG and that was a mixture of motorway and snow covered tracks in 4 low , so not too bad really,

Cheers

Donald
