The rear pipes going into my ace control unit on the chassis under the drivers seat have started leaking. when I removed the retaining plate it looks like the seals are of the taper/collett variety. How do these seals come out and can replacements be had from anywhere other than LR?? The pipes seem to be ok but I think the seals are shot...

i think the seals on the inside of the module are o-rings.
i've found that the bit that leaks the most is the collar part of the pipe (it looks ok but leaks when flexed)

got it sorted. Check out the fine bit of engineering my mechanic made did for me. The pipes were corroded where the lip on the pipes has the collett around it. Couldn't afford new pipes just now so my mate turned down some aluminium rod into the exact dimensions of the pipes and joined them to the original pipes. Sweet bit of work that should buy me some time to buy new ones....
