Its the Daily Record. That should be enough for most people to judge the veracity of it.

Yes, LEZ are coming. Will they affect "3/4 of all diesel vehicles" - I doubt it.  The Consultation only closed at the end of last month so NOTHING is agreed yet, other than a plan that Glasgow will lead on it.

So if like London will the historic vehicles still be abke to travel in out of these areas ?? Or will there be certain restrictions etc I suppose its a case of watch this space for when further consultations have taken place and discussed unless folk know some of these answers ???

I am guessing they will use number plate reading cameras ?

I kinda feel I’m being legislated out of landrover ownership,

I checked my Ambulance and Lightweight against the London LEZ rules - both are exempt as they are Historic. The 90, that's a different story.  On the other hand I now rarely drive into the centre of Edinburgh, its easier to drop a vehicle at the free park & ride at Ingliston and get a tram into the centre for £1.60. Not having to worry about finding somewhere to park is a bonus.

The cities I can understand, I live in motherwell, (does this mean I will have to get rid of my landrovers) I drive through chapelhall on the school run and my folks live in Lanark,  lanark ffs how ye meant to get yer beasts to the market, it’s all lunacy, and frightingly simple to implement,
