What would be nice would be to see the actual scores as well....
-
Wouldn't mind knowing how the scores above are calculated? :-\
-
Done :D
-
10/number of competitors x number of people you beat
-
Cheers, still can't get it to work out, my arithmetic must be bad!
-
..... and what is class 1 and 2?
-
Class 2 includes vehicles that don't qualify for the main competition due to modifications or are not road legal
-
There are 4 classes, and two groups:
- Group 1 are all the people in the championship
- Group 2 are all those not in the championships.
This distinction is mainly a hang-over from the days when one opted for one championships or another.... which was brought in when RTVs were dominated by CCV drivers, and the RTV-only people wanted to exclude the more experienced (and more practised) drivers from `their` championship.
For example, about 10 years ago I was driving a road-legal, ALRC-standard, 80" Land Rover... which was tagged for CCVs.
At trhe start of each season, I had to choose whether I entered the "Club Championships" (CCVs + Comps) or the RTV championships (road legal, so an option too) - I was not allowed to do both (though I could enter both!)
The classes were to distinguish between the different capabilities of the various products from Land Rover, and mostly come from the ALRC regulations (http://www.alrc.co.uk/new%20regulations/sectionl.htm) - however we merge classes (as we are allowed to do) and add a class to allow the trailer'd vehicles to play (slightly naughty, bush keep schtum ;) )
- Class A : All SWB Land Rovers; Petrol or Diesel, Leaf or Coil.
- Class B : All LWB Land Rovers; Petrol or Diesel, Leaf or Coil.
- Class C : All Range Rovers and Discoveries (Petrol or Diesel), plus 101s
- Class Z : All Non road-going vehicles or vehicles towed to the event.
