The very basic rules are:

1) 4 wheels
2) 2 seats, side-by-side
3) Roll cage to MSA spec (section 'K')
4) harnesses, fire extinguisher, etc... also listed in Section K.

There are then a few things not in the MSA book, such as a "life hammer" (glass-breaker) with seatbelt cutter.

I'll email you the 2010 regs (I've not written the 2011 ones yet - but there won't be much of a change)

Hi Dave
Hope the build is going well.  Was only joking about buying a Milner R5 by the way.  Not joking about how good they are, just joking that I could afford one!  Glad to see there will be one racing in the SCCC next year.  Will give Colin something to think about anyway!

Regards Brian

Hi Brian

the build is going well, but slow, rolling chassis is all painted now, building my own custom exhaust at present, just working through the routeing issues, fitted engine front end stuff, the alternator was about 1 mm away from the front shock loop, problem solved by grinding some metal of the alt case

are the peeps who have the milner r5 from scotland or south of the border?

a lottery win would be good for buying milner r5's

cheers
