Does anyone know of a local supplier or garage that can make up the RH and LH brake pipes that run across the axle on a 300 TDI (95 on an M plate) defender 90?   I'm in Polmont.

any local garage should make them, there is also a guy on ebay in dunfermline sells kits.
if your stuck i could make them next week for you i am in fife

David or one of the boys at Car Gear in Larbert will make up copper brake pipes while you wait

Best to take the old pipes with you so they get the right length and correct ends

Thank you both for the offer of help and recommendations.  I was quoted 83 pound for one pipe on Monday and just about fell of my chair!

I will get the pipes off and pop over to Larbert in the first instance.
