Workshop Bay
« on: November 08, 2010, 04:22:41 PM »
I have a friend who is thinking of renting out a workshop bay with 4 post ramp on a half day or daily basis. There might be a remote possibility to keep a Land Rover there for a short while if work was on going but not to be used as a long term storage facility ;) ;)
The bay would have light and heat and ramp.
Would this interest anybody?
It is located in the Perth area. Cost not known at present.

Depending on cost, yes. Fed up with lying in chicken sh@t and sawdust on the barn floor....  ;)

I've always wondered why someone did not do this on a larger scale. I imagine that the liability insurance would be a big factor. The other one would be the "half-day" job that goes pete tong and leaves an immobile vehicle on the ramp, making it difficult to programme rentals ?
If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....

if i can learn where to plug in the spanners ::) then id be interested, even for basic servicing. fed up paying garage bills and not knowing what has really been done. perth isnt exactly a million miles away and the advantage of a ramp would be a real bonus
