Sad news about Richard Hyslop Piper 5 Recovery Many of you will of known Richard from his interest in Land Rovers over the years and as a regular poster on the SLROC forum.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/5729147093/?hc_ref=NEWSFEED"My friends, on Monday of this week, 15th August 2016, we received the news that our Crew Chief, friend and partner in crime had been suddenly taken from us. I can still scarcely believe it and will be lost without him.
Hazel, Richard's wife, was with him at the time. I've been in pretty much constant contact with her since then and she's doing as well as can be expected in the circumstances.
Jake, Richard's son, is missing his Dad but doing his Dad proud by looking after his Mum. Hazel has now contacted Natalie, who is obviously shocked, but is now coming home to be with her Mum and Jake - they all remain in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
Richard's funeral will take place on the 26th August 2016, 11:30am at Dunfermline Crematorium.
It is hoped that as many of his Recovery colleagues, motorsport friends and colleagues and other 4x4 friends will be able to escort him on his final journey from his home.
