landrover 90 300tdi towing ?

 hi folks

do you think i could tow a landrvover 90 200tdi on a trailer 300miles with my  90 300tdi?

Dont know about legal position,best ask GeorgeW.

I towed a disco 200m in a110 300tdi and it was a dawdle

as long as your licence allows you to tow (new drivers ie after 1996 didnt get automatic trailer entitlement) and trailer is ok with the weight of a 90 then you should be fine. a lot of the confusion comes from 110s because they are classed as minibuses so were given new rules

ohi minibus I have never had more than 13 in the 110,dont count the dog,thank goodness I dont have aroof rack

between 8 and 16 passenger seats counts as minibus (using roof rack as well counts as double decker ;) )

Hi, phill, if you can tow a combine head behind your tractor without incident, (WHY NOT), we can do a test run to kyle of lochalsh at the weekend, see if the 90 is upto a long haul, cheers, bob.
