Thanks for the heads up but I have all the docs for the car so no problem there. Have recently been on the phone to the dvla about the disco as the v5 took ages to appeer so I know there is no issues with it. It's taxed for another two months and mot'd until aug. But I'll call them again to ask why it's showing up as untaxed. I know it's just an online oversight. Thanks.

Not at all. I don't want LPG. I never trusted huge tanks hanging under a landy when off road. I need the boot for recovery gear and my dog so don't want a tank there. Just another thing to go wrong as well. I get  around 16 mpg so it's not that bad. I'll just drive the puma more so I'll keep the disco. Sorted. 

Hi Jon, like you I was thinking of selling my Disco (MPI) but have now decided to hang on to it. I have a funny feeling that good condition Disco's are going to be very sought after in the not too distant future. People are moaning about fuel costs just now but if someone is trying to run a Disco 3 or newish Rangerover, a single repair bill for any one of the complex electronic systems,suspension etc would probably cover a few months of fuel bills in an "old" simple Landy. The main killer of our Disco's is rust so if you have a nice clean one keep it protected and I am sure it will prove worthwhile.
So don't be downhearted - enjoy the V8!!

Thanks for that mate. I really love driving the disco so I'm in no rush to sell it. I'm seriously considering getting it waxoiled and keeping it. Enjoy yours as well mate. As you say they will be sought after soon.
