WET PANTS!
« on: September 10, 2010, 10:03:07 AM »
Who owns this?

Metallic black 90 private reg. Mint condition
Creiff Hydro stickers.
Slick tyres 285 70 R18  on H/duty polished rims.
V8 (we think) with gas conversion
Polished roll cage - not bolted to chassis
The biggest set of speakers & sub woofers in the back, fancy stereo mount & guessing stereo is s*** hot
All the dash, doors, controls gear sticks etc are finished in polished aluminium (Where can I get that?)
Mini steering wheel
Fancy trim around the lights.

Not sure what's been done underneath - yellow shocks & springs, discs all round.

Bet it goes like stink.
Would it upset people toput a picture up witout reg plate???

Power to the pedal!

Might be something to do with Strathearn Engineering. I'm sure they have connections with Creiff Hydro.

Be aware however that over time the aluminium gear/diff lever knobs get marks if you're wearing a wedding ring.

Thats a lot of bling - to produce a vehicle thats probably LESS capable than when it left the factory.... :(

I'm not sure 90s are meant to look pretty. I just don't get the concept of trying to make an off-road vehicle into a sports car. Different folks, different strokes I suppose.
If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....

That 90 just looks wrong and the alloys don't do it.
I prefer the mud look.

Ref:The topic of our own play & pay site. - come down to  my work there is loads of it in the car park curtosey of the driving day at Torphichen. :D :D

Everyone's different, my mate has a decent 90, all te tricks for the offroad action, guards, snorkle etc. It gets onto a campsite and washed every other day.

The person who did that to the 90 should seek help  - and the garage that took his money should be deeply ashamed of themselves.

Im with Gene on this one 8)

I dont 'do' bling on Landies either. They can be smart and 'chunky' but without the bling. I think even my 'madmutts' would wear shades before getting into that 90!!!
