Hi guys, newbee here and wondering if you can help.

Ive just bought a nudge bar from ebay, supposedly for a discovery but it doesnt seem to fit.

Part number on the part is STC5002 anyone any idea what this is actually for?

You can still see the item on ebay item 130523800504

Cheers,

Brian

Hi had a look around on the net, looks like you have a STC50021, which when you look around is off a disco 2, so that might be your problem, found this link for you to have a look at

Just on the subject of captive nuts. I have a captive nut setting tool from 4mm to 12mm and it can do some studs as well. Expensive piece of Wurth kit but if anyone needs the use of it let me know. I am from Penicuik so if you are near by and need the use of it just shout...

Guys thanks for all the replies, very helpful.

Think someone had a problem with the captive nuts in the past as they have cut a square hole out the front of it for access,
luckily this is covered by the number plate though.

Its a discovery 1 ive got though so looks like I will sell it on.

Oh well we live and learn as they say :)

Cheers again, looks like a great forum you guys have got here.
