Anyone fitted one of these, just wondering if there are any pitfalls I need to look out for?
-
Its not difficult, you might find this article of interest. It might not be the same hitch but the principal is the same http://www.discovery2.co.uk/NAS_hitch.html

Ta for that, I'd read on a different forum that the fuel tank needed to be moved to gain access for one of the bolts, was just curious to see if anyone had done it.
cheers,

if the existing towbar was factory fitted then the bolt on the nearside won't come out the chassis because of the fuel tank, cut the head off the bolt and pull it outwards, put the new bolt in from the outside of the chassis and fit the nut on the inside problem solved, if your motor never had a towbar then you will have empty holes, just fit the bolts from the outside pointing inwards

i bought and fitted a bosal tow bar without any probs!!!!!!! a good strong towbar, well priced too,

Have fitted the pct and towsure bars piece of cake to do just follow the manual and you will be sorted 8)

Aye it's never had one fitted, though putting the bolts in the 'wrong' way would be the easiesy solution, cheers for the feedback chaps, much appreciated.
