Land Rover Series 2a Project
« on: June 03, 2014, 10:31:45 AM »
Hello there,

Can someone give me an indication as to how much a series 2a project is worth?

It needs a fair amount of work.

Many thanks, Conor

Have you got any more info and pics?
What's the chassis and bulkhead like? Doors top and bottom, type if engine and condition, any extras like hood and sticks, fwh, overdrive etc all this needs to be know to get a rough idear what it could be worth but with info you have provide do far I would offer £100 as so much unknown .
Hope this helps and look forward to more info
John

I really no very little about the car. With regards to the engine...I'm pretty sure it doesn't run but I've been told he has an unleaded engine as spare.

I would suggest going to see it and taking a torch and hammer plus note book and pen along with a camera , do a full inspection of it what's good and what's bad, check its chassis all over plus bulkhead these are the main areas which get rust as the rest is basically aluminium , try find out its history ask the owner questions about it , dies it have a v5 what year is it, why you selling it etc how much dies he want fir it ,
All thus had to be found out before you can even start to consider a price.
