Hi all  - just seeking a wee bit of advice over ,what on the face of it should be, the easiest job in the world: changing anti freeze!

I've just been reading the potential problems of newer anti freeze in older engines (pink/ blue/ OATS etc) and saw this stuff in Costco - "Prestone - Extended life antifreeze/ coolant" http://www.prestone.com/products/antifreeze_coolant/product_list#product-378.

Now, I'm always somewhat sceptical of miracle cures ! so can this really be suitable for all engines; older and modern hence, be a replacement for blue or pink antifreeze and moreover, compatible for my 200Tdi ? Has anyone used it ?

I've used Prestone from Costco, with no adverse effect, in a 200tdi Defender. Not sure, but is it already diluted, so not as good a deal as you'd think.

Thanks for the reply Geoff. The stuff they've got in at the moment is undiluted, so it sounds like that's a wee job for Sunday for me
