just begining to wonder if im best with air bed or canoe

Thought the air bed leaks

treated myself to a new super high quality (?6) from asda  hopefully it wont be a let down

hope directions are foolproof tomtom died only have that hopeless navman i bought my mum a while back, its navigating skills are worse than my own

Looking at it on Google maps, it looks simple enough and turns are obvious.

My stay might need to be on the short side, I forgot about an invitation to a 30th birthday party on Saturday night that Melanie accepted for both of us a while back. So coming down early in the morning, then going back home for 7pm-8pm-ish with 3 hours driving both ways will make the day short  Unless I can get out of it, but not sure at the moment.

I bought some essentials for the trip 4 big pike flies...dont know if i will be able to cast well with them,no worries if we cant BBQ a pike a few burn trout be just dandy.

have got an army camp bed but it doesnt cope with my 'ample body size' im sporting at the moment maybe thats why the last air bed surrendered with such a bang

anyone tried sleeping in a 90 before? am wondering how to fit a bed in it........

I have slept in the back of the 110 just put a board across seats air bed dble and curl up....it was cold but comfy enough

Whats the fuss about its not as if we dont get rain in the west of Scotland

Whatever the weather or conditions throw at us I am sure that we will rise above them and enjoy the weekend, if its too bad then we can always book into the nearest hotel with Mr McEwan's credit card
