200 tdi oil pressure

The oil light is coming on when the engine is warm at tick over and now its coming on at about 30. Changed the oil pressure switch today. but no difference, is this the engine giving up. Just a bit worried as its deteriorating quickly!!!

Its been serviced within about 1000 miles

Any advice greatfully recieved

if you look round before 10 tomorrow or after 2.30 I can give you a loan of an oil pressure guage to check the oil pressure - that's the only way you'll know for sure if the oil pressure is low enough to bring the light on.

has it only happened since the service
i had an issue with an oil filter from paddocks last year i didn't lose pressure but the oil was making funny noises, turned out the non return valve in the filter had collapsed

No it was fine.i did a winch challenge thingy. Which wiped out the starter and alternator with the silt!!!

Got it running again but oil pressure light problem started!!

Not having much luck :-[
