This morning I was in Valetech in Springkerse and there was an Army Land Rover on Army plates in the valeting bay.................. not being washed but it appeared to be being polished! They have matt paint on them don't they?

I agree Tim, Very odd indeed. Power-wash after an Exercise and a bit of a blitz before the Inspection team arrive is about all most have to look forward to !   The Army "White Fleet" contract ( minibuses, cars etc) is up for renewal at the moment but it should not affect "Green Fleet" vehicles.  My only suggestion would be that it was being prepped for some display or a PR shot maybe ?

Its a little known fact that you can actually polish Matt paint, but its not easy! A friend of mine is a detailer and was asking if I wanted my Matt black defender polished!
