This year on 16th to 18th July . Geoff and I are now booked 4 berth caravan. Hope to see a few members there this year, as LRM have moved their dates to the end of August for their show, which coincided with Billing last year. It's the 20th anniversary of the show at Billing Aquadrome.

i spoke with john and we are planning on going to a show this year. went to peterborough last year and it was a superb weekend, thoroughly enjoyed it. not sure which show we will go to this year. its great seeing the variety of motors there. and the bargains you can get......kinetic recovery strap brand new for ?30, 2 pairs of waffle boards for ?50. wanted these for ages but the prices on line are a lot dearer. oh the bar was well stocked as well, so we were told anyway :-X :-X

The Show at Billing has always been the show to go to. Plenty of 2nd hand stuff and new stuff to buy. The beer tent is 2nd to none and usually a good rock group live on Saturday night.

Ayone else from the forum/club going to Billing this year?? The new leasure complex is now open, and pretty good according to the residents in the Aquadrome.

I got that bit ;D but where is it so I can consider if I will take a trip down if its down in the real sowf then might be too far and since I am a pensioner ::) cannot afford to buy all the glossy magazines

372 miles each way, its a bit of a jaunt for sure, dont expect that you could haul it in a day with the tin tent, you would be completely knackered. Might need a stop over which means another couple of days.
I think I will sit this one out chaps, its in the middle of the holiday season and would far rather spend the cash on a non club weekend

tommy, 15 years of driving but i never towed a trailer/caravan in my life lol. think it would be an easy journey....just keep john away from the petrol pumps ;)

I might commit a bit of a sin on this one and go in a "campervan" 2 drivers and its a day trip and it has a huge roof rack for Dougs bits and bobs.
Tommy if you fancy it however we go if 3 share fuel costs are much reduced and if we all share the drive its a day albeit a long one.
Wendy will be final arbiter as to whether I will be going as She (wmbo)has plans which are secret from me at the mo

Less than 3 weeks to Billing and so much to do still with the motor. I did say it comes round quick!!

yeh working in welsh wales now, moved down in december, so far so good,

For anyone not now going to the cancelled hill rally, or the cancelled comp, there's always LRO show at Billing this weekend. And they'd better not cancel that!

We're travelling down this morning. It's amazing how small a 110 hard top is when it's full of stuff!! Just as well we aren't going for a fortnight.
