Fuel guage always full

(1/2) > >>

phil115:
Hi, in need of help I have defender 300tdi and my fuel guage is reading full whenever the ignition is on I have replced fuel sender and have checked the two wires and there connected with no problems. How can I test the guage itself? Or any other ideas what's up with it.

Thanks in advance
Phil

HI, PHILL, WE COULD TAKE A RUN ALONG AND SEE COLIN ROBERTSON IN LOCHGELLY THE FIRST NIGHT YOUR FINNISHED EARLY, HE WOULD PROBABLY HAVE A SPARE GAUGE YOU COULD BUY OF HIM, OR HE WOULD BE THE MAN TO TELL YOU WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, CHEERS BIG EARS.

Hi im bobs cousin.
Have you got constant 12v exactly at fuel gauge.
Does the needle drop to the bottom when you remove the sender wire.
If not its your fuel gauge thats shorted out.
easy replaced.
good luck

phil115:
